Hot Shots Sports Program |
Hot Shots, offered by Dave Clapper, is a motor development and physical education class, which comes to our school. Dave brings over 20 years of experience instructing, teaching, coaching, and working with children of all ages. The lessons are innovative, goal-oriented, and age-appropriate; but most of all, they are fun!
The goal is to provide a safe and fun learning environment to promote positive attitudes towards physical education, self-improvement, and a love for sports and physical activity.
Dave Clapper has instructed children in sports, physical education, and motor development for over 20 years. He attended Foothill College, Chico State and San Jose State University. He has a B.S. in Physical Education - Human Performance and a A.A. in Psychology. He also has a California Teaching Credential.

Marvegos Fine Art School |
The Marvegos Fine Art School offers a weekly one-hour class.
Art Exploration
Fun creating "original" art in drawing, sculpting, mixed media and ceramic is in store for participants of our first three sessions each school year. Students learn the terminology used in the world of fine art through an interactive method. Projects designed for all our programs are age appropriate, fun, and develops each student's confidence in making creative decisions. Our Art Exploration program prepares students for our Fine Art Fundamental Program and offers a student/teacher ratio of 7:1.
Students completing all 3 sessions of fine art each year will qualify to exhibit at our annual end of the year exhibit in June.

Little Toes Yoga |
Little Toes Yoga is a unique approach to integrative learning using yoga as a pathway.
LittleToes Yoga honors the "whole child" by addressing their brain, body, mind and spirit and by creating a sense of connection to the world around them. Yoga integrates reading, storytelling, music, games, creative arts and earth care to educate the "whole child". This wonderful program sets the groundwork for meeting challenges and growing strong physically, mentally, and emotionally, and cultivating self-esteem for a lifetime of successful achievement. |
