Please join us in celebrating One World Montessori School’s 30th Anniversary! Since our opening in the fall of 1979, we have provided a comprehensive and exceptional Montessori prepared learning environment for thousands of children, and with your help, we will continue to do so for the next three decades as well.
On October 16, 2009 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, we will celebrate this landmark year with a special anniversary edition of our “Taste of California” Wine Tasting and Auction at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara. This event is a chance for our One World families and friends to enjoy a pleasant evening together, tasting local California wines, enjoying a variety of cheeses and other delicious foods, listening to live jazz, and participating in the live and silent auctions. We will have a wide selection of items for auction, including passes to local museums and hot spots, children’s toys, restaurant gift certificates, a variety of gift baskets, catered dinners, weekend getaways, and even a several-day ski vacation in Tahoe!
All proceeds go directly to the school’s educational programs and to our scholarship fund, which has allowed hundreds of children of limited means to attend the school over the past 30 years.
This event, and the generous contributions of parents, and other interested organizations, help us enormously. Organizations wishing to donate items for the live and/or silent auctions should download and complete the Merchandise Donor Form and the Merchant Sponsor Letter .
