We think of these people as directors or directresses rather than teachers. Their role is to guide and direct the child, rather than simply lecture. The directors must "kindle the flame of interest," then step back to allow the child the joy and growth that comes from exploration and discovery. All our teaching staff are Montessori trained and certified, and adhere to the philosophy of the school and Maria Montessori.
