Dawn Michelle McKinley Memorial Scholarship
Dawn Michelle McKinley was a vibrant, humorous and loving person. She opened her heart to the world, and loved everyone she knew. Dawn had a natural talent for so many things, and she discovered American Sign Language as a perfect avenue for expressing herself. She loved her entire family with such a passion, and we miss her so much each day.
Just before she passed away she had finished the first year of her training and was looking forward to her journey ahead. We want to honor her memory and offer this scholarship to an individual that demonstrates a passion for life and a love for children, but may not have the financial resources to follow their dream.
I wish that all of you could have known her; she was one of a kind.

This scholarship will cover tuition ($3000) for one student. To be considered, please submit a letter with your application package that tells us a bit about who you are, and why you could benefit from this scholarship.
Application package should include:
Application
Application Fee ($50)
Letter of Intent, including why the scholarship would be important, or helpful for you
Official College Transcripts (or for recent high school graduates, high school transcripts)
Three Letters of Recommendation, including one personal and one professional or educational.
